Privacy notice
Personal data handling across epmex.org, certificado.epmex.org and vacantes.epmex.org.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. Controller and address
Especialistas Petroleros Mexicanos A.C. (EPMEX) is the controller for these portals. Referenced parent company: DYSCO EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION, S.A. DE C.V., dyscoep.com. Address: Tamaulipas 407, Col. Petrolera, Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, postal code 96500, Mexico. Privacy contact: hola@epmex.org. The corporate reference does not mean all information is automatically transferred to the parent company.
2. Data and sources
Depending on the service, data may include name, CURP, email and telephone, account and authentication information, training credentials, programmes, folios, dates and associated documents, professional details, applications and employer form information. Records may originate from the individual, centres or issuers lawfully supplying them, and service use. Technical access logs, IP addresses, browser details and security events may also be generated. General functions do not deliberately request sensitive data; avoid unnecessary disclosures.
3. Necessary purposes
Identify and verify training records; provide folio or CURP searches and available documents; consolidate training history; validate profile claims; manage accounts and operational emails; administer employer listings and authorised applications; respond to requests and protect service integrity and security. A function may be unavailable without its necessary data.
4. Verification and applications
Folio or CURP searches may display record information and available documents to someone holding the identifier. Request correction or review of exposure at hola@epmex.org. When you apply, the selected employer receives the data and documents described in the confirmation flow and is responsible for its recruitment use. Declining an application does not prevent general credential searches. No public telephone or email directory is offered for bulk extraction.
5. Optional purposes and technologies
Google Analytics navigation measurement is optional and activates according to visitor choice. Reject or change it through Analytics preferences. The preference is stored locally for up to 180 days. CURP or folio search values and form data are not sent to Analytics. Session and other necessary technologies support authentication, security and operation as applicable. This notice is not blanket permission for advertising or promotional messages.
6. Providers and disclosures
Hosting, email and support providers may act as processors subject to applicable duties and instructions. Optional measurement may involve processing outside Mexico. Information is disclosed to a selected employer when you authorise an application, to authorities under valid legal requirements and in other lawful circumstances. Transfers requiring consent must have it. This notice does not authorise selling personal data.
7. Retention and protection
Data is retained as needed for services, legitimate credential traceability, legal duties and potential liabilities, then blocked or deleted where appropriate. There is no single retention period for every record. Administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to processing apply, without a guarantee of absolute security. You may request the retention criteria applicable to your case.
8. Privacy rights and requests
Request access, rectification, cancellation or objection (ARCO), withdraw consent or restrict use and disclosure by emailing hola@epmex.org with the subject Privacy / ARCO. Include your name, response channel, requested right, a clear description of data or corrections and information locating the record or establishing representation where needed. We will explain an appropriate identity verification channel; do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents in the first email. Statutory requirements and deadlines apply; where applicable, a decision is communicated within 20 days and implemented within the following 15 days, subject to lawful extensions.
9. Withdrawal and complaints
Withdrawal is not retroactive; cancellation may be subject to statutory retention or blocking. Rejecting optional processing does not prevent services independent of it. If dissatisfied, you may approach the competent authority under current Mexican law. Site mechanisms do not replace statutory rights.
10. Changes and contact
Updates appear at https://epmex.org/privacy/ with their revision date. New consent will be requested when required. This notice is also available in Spanish. Request clarification at hola@epmex.org if interpretation is unclear.
